Social entrepreneurs Scot and Jacq Tatelman originally founded State Bags back in 2009, aiming to bring much-needed school supplies to underprivileged children. The Brooklyn, NY-based company now produces a wide range of clean, colorful backpacks and totes with modern designs for just about everyone. The Tatelmans’ philanthropic efforts continue today; with every sale, the company donates a fully-stocked bag to a child living in an at-risk neighborhood.
